That’s actually true, the people who love cars have a great impact of their obsession on their personal lives, because at the end of the day, you have something to look at and smile! .
There are numerous videos on the internet where people have said how their car / obsession for cars helped them to come out of depression or helped them through the tough times in life. To many people , this may seem as a result of overly dramatic car fandom, because biologically a huge block of metal and four tires can’t cure your disease, nor can it provide medication.
So why do I strongly believe in this theory?
Well, the answer is straightforward, it’s a proven fact that emotions (and your mental health) affect your physical health in a major way. The key is to not feel weak, even though you are weak at that point of your life. Obviously this doesn’t do wonders and solve your problems immediately, but gives you the strength required for the same. Coming back to cars, these have been with us from more century now and we as humans have always found them to be a crucial part of the social system. Now, some of us humans are crazy enough to step ahead and treat them as a member of the family, give them the love, affection that you’d give to your own child.
Picture this, you have a rough day at work, and return home to the smiling faces of your children! This suddenly takes you to a different degree of peace and you tend to leave all that stress behind. Similarly with the car enthusiasts, getting inside your car and driving it makes you forget that your problems even existed! This makes you realise that there’s so much to life apart from the short term problems you’re facing.
If you are going through tough times as well, get behind the wheel and go for a ride, because whatever is bothering you is temporary and you’ll come out of it someday, So why not enjoy a good drive till then? .
This also makes the car community a very special place to be. If you know someone who needs help, or if you need help, “TALK” it’s easier than you think.
